چکیده

The aim of this study was to determine the effects High-intensity interval training (HIIT) on quality life in healthy young people (YNG) and older adults (OLD)and its correlation with physical health status (anthropometric parameters lower limb functionality) YNG (21 ? 2 years, BMI 26.37 2.69 n = 12) OLD (67 5 27.16 3.04 groups underwent 12weeks HIIT. Before after HIIT, anthropometric assessments, functionality tests, SF-36 quality-of-life questionnaire were performed. There no significant changes dimensions (P>0.05). After there improvement percentage Mental Component Summary (MCS) (YNG, +8.51 25.80 % vs. OLD, +2.30 9.05 %) Physical (PCS) +2.66 20.54 +4.34 22.71 %). Negative correlations observed between body mass index (BMI) PCS (R=-0.570, P=0.009) MCS (R=-0.649, P=0.002) as well waist circumference (R=-0.557, P?0.001) both groups. Also, sit-to-stand test (R=-0.424, P=0.006) gait speed (R=0.458, P=0.042) only YNG. HIIT promotes positive life, showing better results MCS. Quality correlated

The Impact of High Intensity Interval Training On Lipid Profile, Inflammatory Markers and Anthropometric Parameters in Inactive Women

Abstract       Background and Objective: High-intensity interval training (HIIT) is a recently proposed exercise protocol, which is time-effective. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of HIIT for 8 weeks on the lipid profile, C-reactive protein (CRP), fasting blood sugar (FBS) and anthropometric parameters of young women who do not exercise.  &...

Effects of Low-Intensity Resistance versus High-Intensity Interval Aerobic Training on Serum Interleukin-6 Concentration and Insulin Resistance Markers in Obese and Young Men

Introduction: Regular exercise training is a useful strategy to reduce inflammatory markers, but it is still unclear what type of training is better. Thus, this study compared the effects of 12-week of low-intensity resistance (Low-RT) and high-intensity interval aerobic training (High-IAT) on serum interleukin (IL)-6 levels and insulin resistance (IR) markers in obese and young men. Methods I...

Effect of High-Intensity Interval Training and Crocin on Hematological Parameters in Doxorubicin-Induced Male Rats

Background: Doxorubicin (DOX) is an anthracyclines antibiotic and is one of the most effective antitumor drugs. However, using this drug is associated with poisoning of healthy tissues. The purpose of this study was to investigate the changes in hematological parameters of male rats exposed to doxorubicin after eight weeks of high-intensity interval training and crocin consumption. Materials a...
